I tuned out Taryn and Diana's bickering out of my head and focused on the food I was eating. All I wanted was to get over this, then go to bed for a long night's sleep.
"I'm sorry for being so hard on you earlier." Edward whispered from beside me, taking me by surprise.
"Urmm..." I didn't know what to say in reply.
"It's alright. It's a good thing you're healing quite fast too."
I nodded in response, not knowing what to say in reply.
"Yeah."
"So... Is it like an ability from being wolfless?"
Damn... Can he keep his mouth shut for just a second? Not to forget we are having a misunderstanding. Everything isn't cool between us now.
"Enough of that, Taryn!" Brenna boomed in a loud voice, ending the bickering between Diana and Taryn. They kept shut immediately and resumed eating.
