I opened the door to my study to see Lucas seated and waiting for me.
"What's so important and can't wait for tomorrow?" I was becoming agitated with every passing second. The top priority in my mind was being with Mia and doing what has to be done to avoid further disaster from my sister and other sneaky council members.
"A message from one of the executed traitors today." He said and handed me a piece of paper when I got to where he stood. "I found it in his bedroom while clearing up things. Seems the delivery came in late or that is exactly what he intended. We read it after his death."
I opened the folded paper.
