I turned away from the actions Chloe was carrying out on Mia and faced Bella, simply to gauge her reaction. I couldn't judge what's on her mind from her facials. She didn't look excited or scared. Unlike me, I was a cracking mess of nerves.
I looked away before she could detect what I was thinking. Earlier experience has taught me to avoid her.
