Chapter 49

1089 Words

Edward I was not interested in the story Mia had to share. It was really far from that. What interested me was how her life was, growing up. That's what I was more curious about than the random guy that she shared a love interest with. He was lucky I would never get to meet him. "After that day Larson saved me, I began growing close to him but there was still a distance in our relationship. I wanted more and did everything I could to get closer to him to no avail." That didn't sound like the Mia I was getting to know. It's funny to think that young Mia was attention seeking, and willing to be noticed by the opposite s*x. Though I didn't count that against her because of the sort of background she had while growing up. She needed companionship and a sense of belonging with pack members.
