Beauty beholds pure evil By Robin van der Walt 30 May 2020 "Magical, mystical, seductive, pure evil, That's what it is I'm telling you people. For beauty comes at a price, but not by choice, As beautiful people, naturally seem to have an ugly inner voice." Beautiful things cause many nu-invited temptations and can even make the most innocent of people commit unspeakable things in order to obtain such beauty. Weather it be that of flesh, nature or material objects. Beauty can cause obsession which can make one forget what they are sacrificing in order to obtain and satisfy that said obsession. Sometimes the most beautiful things in life are missed as it is covered in layers of trash or hidden in the darkest shadows, even in the deepest depths of a person's soul, yet that beauty is not seen by the common eye but that of a beholder. As the saying goes: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is up to you to see the beauty in the world and in life for you to truly admire it. Look at the beauty in everyday, not the fake, misconception of what the world has labeled as beautiful, but what you, yourself see as beautiful. For false beauty leads you to sin. ****** Never judge unless you want to be judged. Poem: The want... (7 deadly sins pic) By Robin van der Walt 15 May 2020 It nags, it pulls, it calls out at you non-stop. When will it end, you ignore the annoying hummer in the back of your head. The constant thought that plays through your mind, feels like a long never ending drop. Like falling into wonderland, i now understand why Alice first dared to tread. The feeling of wanting something so much that it almost seems as important as a need. Its not the object, person or matter, that is to say. The want is the desire that, the want will let the frustrations be freed. So it lingers in your thoughts, without being invited all day. The want can become some kind of obsession of sort. You can't eat, drink, sleep or have any other form of relaxation. Its a constant battle, in your mind of thought. For the power it posses, lies in the waiting, the anticipation. For one knows that wanting something is more exciting, Than actually having what you want in the end, as it is usually a disappointment. Its the not knowing if the want will satisfy the need, it could be dull or full of lightning. That is why satisfying your want is like constantly postponing the appointment. For once you have satisfied the want you had, You realize that as fulfilling as you thought it would be, The satisfaction you got was not good nor bad. For once the want is gone, the mist disappears and you can once again clearly see... ****** Temptations are all around us and the more we are introduced to, the more we want. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be able to do more or learn more, but when your want is that of temptation may it be of food, lust, envy or jealousy, then we begin to lose focus on the things that matter. A want is a distraction from what is most important and you will soon come to notice that desires only arise, when you are focused on the right things in life. It appears to occur in order to misdirect you so that you cannot succeed in bettering yourself. I say it is an unconscious way we self sabotage ourselves. We are all unknowingly programmed to make ourselves fail, as we have adapted to it as the norm. We all think we will fail so we distract ourselves in order to excuse our actions of no action as we fear success. We all have some kind of obsession - no obsession is better or worse than another... A gym junky is just as bad as binge eater, A drug addict is just as bad as mistress.... All obsessions take up your time and in a way are time wasters. Stop judging another person's actions and start judging your own as you would someone else's. Addictions are not only substances it can be actions and words too. Anything that makes one feel satisfied after having had it, is a drug, as it satisfies the unneeded want and caused you to chose it over the more important task that was at hand. Thus wasting time and missing opportunities. ****** You are someone's sum-1 Poem: The Morrow By Robin van der Walt 14 March 2020 Forget your worries, forget your sorrows, For there is new light in the morrow. Yesterday is gone and today is fading, But tomorrow might be the day you be grading. The morrow brings hope, sheds light, It's another day for one to fight. Enjoy the each warm summer embrace, Sometimes there is more to life than just the chase. So plan for the future and be weary, But live for today, for there may be no morrow, and that is scary. The morrow brings the unknown for it has not yet come. Remember for always you are someone else's sum-1... ****** Very true to life. If you only praise a person cause they seem down or you want something from them, you make that person feel worthless and used thus the saying in the doodle: "Give a dog a bone, you teach him to bury his treasures. Give him a piece of meat and he will learn to enjoy such pleasures" Remember in life every person has a role to play, but if you want to achieve the greatest from a person's potential, you need to make the person want to do the task. And people are funny, they tend to become demotivated if not rewarded properly for a task. Thus they shall enjoy the odd spoils in life, but they will know how to live without it so they will have no drive. Reward the person on all the things they accomplish big or small and they will become accustomed to the luxuries and shall always preform as they cannot live without them. Thus they tend to achieve and accomplish more. People need hope that they can succeed in life and constant battles just to survive is not drive to an already damaged and broken person will never feel motivated if not rewarded, thus they amount to nothing. We are all sum-1 to someone, weather a friend, a partner, an employee etc and we all have a meaning in life, never give up on your tomorrow for you might have given up a day before you accomplished becoming someone's SOMEONE. ***** A soulmate’s promise By Robin van der Walt 16 Aug 2020 I know I am not the first of the many wonderous things, Like a kiss, a crush, a lustful touch or a promise ring. But I know till death you have stolen my heart, And for that I promise to never drive us purposely apart. As we continue on our journey, for where-ever it may lead. Please note for every moment without you I bleed! For each passionate embrace that we dare to share with one another, Brings our two separate souls closer to each other. For two will become one and one day we will repeat the sum. For when one of us leaves this timeless world, we shall once again tred the lands as one. Yet my promise to you, my one and true soulmate, Is to have just loved you for that tome, it was not luck nore chance but fate. So when our souls both hit the heavens, right next to me I shall save you seat. As you sit, so shyly besides me, i will great and we once again we shall casually meet. We shall be each other's first for everything and never ending memories we will make, Cause even in heaven, our love was designed out of our and utter fate. ..... ...... ..... ..... This doodle was my first attempt at a requested piece of art. A wife wanted to give her husband a plaque with the following on it: So I offered to try something for her. The poem in a way is very personal as I have lost my soulmate in a tragic accident and I hope that one day I shall be reunited with him. I think the message behind it speaks to many couples that have never lost that feeling of falling in love. There are a few aspects of the doodle that are significant to me personally eg: The number 13 on the calender in the bottom left corner. It resembles the 13 years I had with my belated husband as well as The date of my husband's accident in which he passed 13/04/2019 The two medieval wine glasses in the middle of the bottom of the page. My hubby and I would of held a medieval wedding for our 10 year wedding anniversary as we got married at home Affairs and we wanted a proper wedding to our taste. The rest of the images are normal related pictures to love and weddings. ******* Silence can make you mentally free By Robin van der Walt 10 May 2020 The sound of silence is something odd, There is still a noise, a humming, a throb. No-one has truly mastered complete and utter silence. Definitely not as good as they have mastered the guidance! Meditate, be alone, clear your mind, think of nothing. Have you not realize trying to think of nothing makes you think of something? One cannot stop the mind from thinking thoughts without consciousness, So silence is actually a non-stop noise of silenceness. A constant hum, a thought not to think, Oh s**t, what was that colour? Oh, yes, pink! Now why was I thinking of that, i was not supposed to be in thought? Oh, s**t, i forgot those marshmallows I though I bought. The mind is amazing, it's constantly busy, So our minds are constantly noisy, making us dizzy. The thing we call silence is of both joy and pure evil. For the sound of silence could be a gift from God or punishment from the Devil. The silence I hear, scares me at times. Sometimes the humming and throbbing perfectly rhymes. My mind thinks up things that are unrealistic fir sure, Sometimes its entertaining, some thoughts unsettling, most thoughts, impure. Silence is like many wonderful inventions, man made and untrue. Something that exists, with no form or texture, ewe... In a place of complete "silence" and darkness as your eyes tighten. Listen to the sound of silence, its beautiful, each airy whisper begins to heighten. Each drumming thump from the beat of your heart, Brings all the little notices to form part of the classic art. Of the most talented of all acoustics, performing together, at once. Once all the little noises come together, you body will preform an unseen dance. So silence can cause one to get lost in a strange world by chance, Of unheard music, beauty, song and eternal dance. The feeling of living and feeling mentally free, I must tell you , comes at a great cost, a mental fee... ******** WHILE YOU SLEEP It’s time, you have been chosen, called upon. So you close you eyes, their will be no more sun. Your mind at ease, your soul at rest, You gave life your all, you gave it your best So while you sleep, eternally. The rest of us, must carry on as usually. Day in, day out you are constantly in thought, As our lives are constantly distraught. We linger in limbo, we loose track of time For we hoped and prayed that you’d stay mine Though your time on earth was, but only borrowed, Not mine to keep, so I shall forever be in sorrow So while you sleep your soul be kept, For many of us, in your loss we wept. We will move forward each day a little, But our minds and hearts are slightly brittle. We pretend to be fine, laughing and smiling, But inside, while no one is looking we are crying. Though it sounds like torture and complete sadness, We get over it by showing rage and madness! But in time, we shall come over it, As we begin to dig our own pit. We realize that we are helpless and weak, And we shall also, one day, finally sleep…. ******* Thy love for men, explained through death….. Oh Lord, Thy Lord He give’th and He take’th Without cause or explanation He does not care for his own creation He leaves us with pain, “NO SUFFER SO THEN NO GAIN” So left are we, a mother and a absent father A close friend or a distant sister But those that bare the most, a son and daughter A devoted wife, her a best friend was suddenly slaughtered It’s hard to see, that a love of such torture Is to be known as true loves nature That of a creature, a father and a teacher So who are we to question such a preacher The book tells us the blatant truth, That we should live to die, Yet we die to live. Who of what sound mind, unless pure evil Would be a creator of such a nature *****
