My dad has always been cold and strict and the moment I saw Serena’s swollen eyes, the first thing I thought was he scolded her.
Mom brought Millie to the living area, I followed them but I immediately went back to the kitchen realizing Serena’s not with us. I found her in the kitchen, talking to my father.
Good thing dad’s phone rang, but I felt like it's not really a good thing because he shot me with cold and dangerous glares.
Something’s wrong. Dad is furious and I don't know the reason. Is it about Catherine again? Who called him?
My phone beeped before I could enter the study room. I clenched my jaws and gripped my phone when I received a message from Catherine, saying Andy's application for admission in a school was denied.
