Serena’s POV
The incident brought Millie and Tyler closer again. A day passed slowly while I was watching how Tyler make it up to Millie by taking care of her—feeding her and accompanying her to sleep. It was amazing how Millie could rely on her father comfortably without even getting suspicious as to why I’m inevitably avoiding her dad.
It makes me feel guilty. Millie loves her father so much and because of my decisions, their relationship will be affected.
Today, Millie was transferred to a private room. Tyler assigned men to guard the hospital door for our security and I admit it would be more secure for Millie.
“You should get some sleep,” Tyler said after putting a blanket on Millie who just fell asleep after he read her bedtime story.
