Selena's POV
I had to take a few days leave from work to make sure Millie's okay staying with her grandparents. I visited her everyday for the last three days and monitored her recovering. I want to make sure that she really agreed to stay with her grandparents and wasn’t forced just because I asked her to and for the last three days, I saw how happy she is staying with my in-laws.
The short leave I applied for three days ended yesterday and now I need to go back to work. I went straight to work after calling Millie. She wished me good luck on going back to work and I was beyond happy hearing it.
“Good morning, Doctor Anson! Welcome back!” My assistant Zoe greeted me when I entered my office. She was fixing the things on my table.
