Murphy's POV.
When we both heard the voice of Ryan behind us, we both turned and laughed. After a second, I remembered that he broke a promise he made to me, and I certainly went tight.
"Okay, what is it now, Murphy?" He had noticed the change of expression and immediately asked.
"We had an agreement, Ryan. And you promise that you will not go to reveal it to Jessica. But alas, who knows that I gave up my wolf to save her a long time ago"? I asked him, staring at his face.
"It was not such a long time ago, Murphy, and believe me, I tried to keep it away. She even made a promise not to let you know that she was aware," he said to me as if Jessica was not standing with us.
"I know I broke the promises I made, but then I needed to clear that off my chest, which is the reason I had asked.
