Kane could not hold the surprise at my insistence that we stay there at the camp until Ryan and Murphy arrived because we were obviously faced with danger, and these rebels, whose number we did not know, could attack us anytime soon. I understood where his fear was coming from. If it ever came down to fighting, we were not going to be strong enough to fight them. As the people in the camp barely had knowledge of fighting, or even if Kane was, I'm not sure that both of us could fight these rebels who live their entire lives fighting against everything and even themselves.
