When I asked Darius that question, I expected that he was going to forget everything relating to his apology to me and quickly jump onto the topic, but he disappointed my expectation when he insisted that I tell him if I actually had forgiven him, which was kind of weird.
I had known Darius for a very long time, and it was never so insistent on being a gentleman before. Or had he come to discover that I was planning to take over the throne from him?
For a few seconds I was confused about why he was acting the way he was, but if he truly was sincere with all of this apology, it would mean that he had really changed.
