FAMMY HAD SWOLLEN TO twice her size. Her fur stood on end and her tail snapped angrily as she continued to spit into the darkness at the edge of the cemetery. Bella had finally stopped screaming but her ominous silence was even more terrifying to Edric than her screaming had been. She stared past the headstone on the gravesite where she knelt, her beautiful eyes vacant. A chilling sense of foreboding swept Edric. He had no idea what Bella had been doing in that cemetery, but he knew, somehow, that whatever it was had gone terribly wrong. She was in real danger.
