DEAR READERS, FIRST I’d like to thank you for your continuing support of my Honeybuns. I’ve enjoyed creating their stories and sharing them with you.
A Honeybun in Hell is the fourth book in a nine book series. With this book, I’ve delved into a new arena of mystery suspense that I hope you’ll enjoy. In honor of the season of magic, I thought it might be fun to take the sexy, down-to-earth Honeybun boys out of their comfort zone for a bit, and give them something new to think and worry about. And I’m happy to report that, as Honeybuns usually do, they rose beautifully to the occasion!
In keeping with the mystical quality of Halloween, this Honeybun tome is a paranormal / mystery suspense hybrid, filled with ghosties and spiritual influences that add a fun and intriguing element to the story.
My heroine, Bella Rawnie, is a practicing Wiccan of gypsy ancestry whose family ‘gift’ includes the ability to speak with spirits. Never is that ability keener than on Halloween, or Samhain (pronounced sow-in), the night when the veil between the spiritual and living worlds is at its thinnest. Problem is, Edric’s a meat and potatoes kind of guy, who’d rather punch the bad guy than light a candle and chant him away.
Can Edric see things Bella’s way and learn to fight with something other than his gun and his fists? And, after decades of ridicule from people about her ‘gift’ can Bella learn to trust Edric and lean on him when someone sets out to kill her and end the Rawnie family line? And finally, can Bella’s familiar, Fammy the horizontally challenged feline, learn to like diet kibble?
Well, we’ll never find out about that last thing will we?
But the rest of the stuff is in this book, along with answers to the following: Is the Honeybuns’ new nemesis made of flesh and blood? Will fists slow him down? Will bullets stop him? Do spirits really exist?
There’s only one way to find out peeps. So stop dithering and turn the dang page! Edric and his honey, Bella are waiting.
