ONE YEAR LATER...
Edric slashed his signature across the page and handed the autographed copy of his new thriller, Smarter than Hell, to a beaming fan. She took the book and cast a dewy, hopeful gaze on him before reluctantly giving up her spot to the next fan.
Edric turned his practiced smile to the next person in line. It quickly changed to a genuine one. “Well hello, beautiful.”
Bella laughed and leaned down to kiss him, enjoying the surprised gasps from the long line of women behind her.
“Hey! I didn’t know we got to kiss him too!” A large woman wearing a lot of black leather approached with her signed copy of the book. “I’ll give back the book and take the kiss instead,” the woman offered with a slightly aggressive grin.
