DETECTIVE WARD PULLED latex gloves off his hands and frowned at Edric. “Garth was an old, frail man. It seems unlikely he could have been behind any of what’s happened over the last couple of days.”
“Insanity sometimes gives people unusual strength.” Godric offered.
Ward glanced at him, frowning. “This really puts a crimp in the search for Peter Garth as our kidnapper and possible murderer.”
