“What did you just say?" Victor asked, his voice failing.
“Sarah. Do you know this woman?" James repeated.
Victor gulped and blinked a few times, trying to make sense of what he had just heard. That was not possible. Sarah would never do something like that. In fact, she was lying on a bed in a coma, trying to fight for her life. There was no way she was behind it.
She would never hurt Benjamin or put his life at stake. She wasn't that type of person, and Victor was well aware of that. Whatever that meant, he knew it wasn't true.
But at the same time, she insisted that he took her with him for the rescue mission. Did she know anything? Maybe she could be planning on doing something to make sure that the plan went smoothly like she wanted.
