BELLA'S POV
"Are you going to make me say it again?" Glade said, her voice low and menacing
I hesitated, but it was clear I had no choice. She knew I was there. With my heart pounding fast, the sound loud in my ears, as I slid out from under the bed and stood in front of her.
Her eyes narrowed slightly. "What exactly do you think you're doing here?" she asked.
I tried to come up with something that sounded believable, but my mind just wouldn’t work fast enough. "I...I was looking for you," I answered.
What?! Looking for her? Really? That was the best I had?
She raised an eyebrow. "And you thought you'd find me underneath my bed?"
"My...um...my bracelet fell, and I was trying to get it from under there when you walked in. I didn't want to interrupt your conversation,"
