BELLA'S POV
"He kissed you?" Asher repeated, his brows lifting slightly, like he needed me to say it again just to believe it.
I nodded, but even saying it out loud felt bizarre, like I was repeating someone else’s story instead of my own.
"Wait, hold up," Asher said, his tone carrying a barely hidden smirk. "So Glade thinks you're after her man, and now that same man just confessed he’s in love with you?"
"You think that's funny?" I shot back, narrowing my eyes.
Asher laughed, it was a light chuckle, but his lips curled up, and for a few seconds, he looked like a completely different person.
"Forgive me, but you’re in the middle of something straight out of a tragic love triangle," he teased, leaning back slightly. "So, what's your next move?”
