BELLA'S POV
My legs carried me as fast as they could, the trees blurring together as I sprinted. I needed to get out of here, fast. I only stopped once I was out of the woods, my heart pounding viciously in my chest.
Had she seen me?
If she did, could she recognize me?
The look in her eyes when she saw me made me feel like she had. She screamed for me to stop, but I didn't listen.
Sweat streamed down my face as I tried to fight back the feeling of unease in me. The face of the man involved with Tamara flashed through my head, and I recognized him. I had only been here a while, but I had encountered almost all the guards, and I could have sworn that he belonged to the elites.
