Not as an event, but as a state. Variability returned to baseline. Monitoring frequency normalized. Confidence intervals narrowed to familiar ranges. The curve, briefly widened, reasserted its preferred shape.
The subject noticed the quiet.
Days passed without interruption. Decisions resolved themselves again. The effort introduced by proximity and choice receded, leaving behind only memory—thin, imprecise, easy to misattribute.
Memory carried no weight.
