Judgmental Stares

Shane reached over me and grabbed the last piece of carrot cake. I looked at him curiously as I saw him pick up a fork and dig into it. He then proceeds to hold a piece of it in my face, waiting for me to take it. I hesitated as I watched others around us stare and whisper. But I took it anyway. I opened up my mouth and slowly took it off the fork, never leaving his gaze. He smirked pleasedly, as he dug back into the cake and ate a piece for himself. It was actually a really good carrot cake. It had walnuts and carrot chunks which I thought was really nice. He cut another piece and held it out for me.
