As we ran, the hallway opened up into the main part of the arena. Crowds surrounded this huge stone pit in the middle of the arena.
The Alpha King along with some guards stood next to a group of competitors in the middle of the stone pit.

The crowd clapped and cheered at the commencement of the Royal Games. Lizzie led me to a side gate that led to the inside of the stone pit.
