"Where's Doc. Madison?"

"She's here, Director."

"Doc. Madison?" I hastily closed my book and stand in my seat.

"Director? Good morning, what are you doing here, Director?" I asked him politely.

"I wanted to tell you that there is a conference for the board of directors and I want you to be there. Okay?"

"Yes, Director." I nodded.

"Perfect." Then, we smiled back at each other, and then he pardons himself because he is a busy man. He can't stay longer with me and I appreciated it because he went here to tell me that. Also, I understand he's a busy man. I chuckled at my thought.

Thereon, I soon to open my book and read my favorite novel. But, Luis is here and he keeps pestering me.

"What do you want?" I yelled at him of my annoyance.

"You are reading again? You don't have a schedule today?"

"I have! My operation will start at noon and it's vacant now. That's why I'm not in the emergency room and I'm here at my post.

"Just chill, I'm just asking you. Well bye, then I have an operation now."

"Good luck then." I waved my hand at him and so as he.

Hence, I go back to reading my novel. But, there's a bug again.

"What now!" I hissed, why they keep bugging me huh?

"You're busy?" That's a stupid question I'd heard today. But I keep my composure on not to be mad at him completely.

"It isn't obvious? Well, I'm busy reading my novel. And uhuh! I have a schedule today for an operation in room 2." I told him without hesitation.

"Easy woman. I'm just asking okay?" I rolled my eyes.

"Mind your own business, Cameron."

"What? Why are you so grumpy today? Are you on your mens?"

"No! I'm just busy reading okay? I have a scheduled operation later so I just want to rest first before my operation starts. I want to alleviate myself by just reading. Are we okay with that?"

He sighed. "I don't know but you talk too much today and I don't understand you but I will understand you. So I'm leaving." He smirked at me then he walks out.

"What was that?" I shrugged then I continue reading.

It's 9 p.m and I'm walking home right now while reading my novel. I'm in the part of the story where Sophia and Caden are arguing. Caden wants Sophia to come back at him. But, Sophia doesn't want to. She's in pain and I don't think Sophia will be agreed to.

I noticed the time on the novel and I looked at my watch. It's exactly 9:45 the same as the one in the novel at also the date.

9:45 P.M, November 29th

Then, I also at the exact place where Caden and Sophia are. I look around and I'm in block 6, Newton Street. I gasped in delight! God! I feel like I'm also in the novel! This feels surreal to me!

Yet, I was flabbergasted when a sudden light or something? Struck in my chest. I put my hand on my chest, it gives me pain. What is this? Why I do feel like this? It feels like an icy thing struck at me. But I don't know what's this.

Slowly the lids of my eyes grew heavier. I didn't even realize that I was being eaten by the darkness. Then, everything went black.
