Chapter Nine The dance floor was packed, but I didn’t bother looking there. Whoever this guy was, he didn’t look like he’d be spinning around dancing with a bunch of twinks. I walked the edges of the room, hoping to find him before that Grant dude could get to him. “What the hell are you going to tell him when you find him?” I mumbled, then I spied Grant handing a wad of bills to a guy close to my age who I’d never seen before. The guy grinned as he counted the cash, while Grant made for the stairs. A muscular man was waiting there, and the two exited the party together. “Fuck.” I mumbled, then saw the dude who’d taken the money head toward the bar.
