Adam spent the entire day with me in the packhouse, and I was grateful for his presence. He made sure to inform the top members of his pack about my pregnancy and the strict instructions from the doctor. The reaction was more than I expected—everyone was filled with joy and excitement.
It seemed like every other minute, someone new came to visit me, offering their congratulations or simply to check in on how I was doing. Their kindness and the overwhelming love they showed left me feeling deeply touched. Some of the omegas even offered to knit baby clothes for me, their eyes sparkling with genuine warmth. I thanked them sincerely, my heart swelling with gratitude.
I wasn’t used to being the center of so much attention, and while it was wonderful, it also felt a bit overwhelming.
