The Sought Revenge

"You seek death," my stepmom said, and all my bottled anger came flooding out. The villagers pointed their weapons at me. I waited to see my dad, but he didn't show up. The archers hurled their arrows at me, and for the first time, I decided to use my inner weapon. I closed my eyes, activating my protective barrier. I took in air slowly and exhaled slowly, allowing my body to tap into my mind's eye. I felt power surge through me, and I gathered my power, wielding half of it to launch a blast into the ground, sending people flying, both near and far. I didn't mean to kill anyone, but I wanted to destroy the core of their powers so they couldn't use them again. People groaned in agony, and I felt my body growing heavy. I stared at them, knowing I would be going down soon, not knowing what would happen to me next. I eagerly prayed for a savior as my body fought against oblivion, but I couldn't resist it anymore and gave in, collapsing to the ground immediately. I woke up to see myself surrounded by the villagers, who were holding sticks with fire on them. They wanted to burn me alive. They must have tried to hurt me, but couldn't. I stood up immediately as they hurled the fuel at me. I used my eyes, and it poured down at the feet of those who wanted to pour it on me. I stared at the fire, and one of them caught fire. He started to scream in pain, and some of the villagers poured water on him to quench the flames, while others hurled abuses at me. I felt Amanda's aura and immediately sent her incoming arrow back to her, striking her in the heart. I started to walk into the village. Each step I took made people fall and groan in pain. I was about to enter the main hall when a spear hurtled towards me, and I sent it back using my hand to swirl it in thin air, sending it back to its owner. I opened the door and walked in, and what I saw shocked me. I saw a lady's statue close to the throne. She looked noble, and I felt a pang of pain within me seeing such a sight. I felt it was my mom; my instinct told me so. "Lavender, today may be your last day," I heard my dad's voice say. I turned to see him, but something caught my eye - it was the spear I had just cast back. I stared at the serpent rod that controlled immense power. "You unlock your mind's eye to bring catastrophe to the world, just like you did when you were born," he said in a distressing tone. "You feel for others with great sympathy. I would have thought you were a nice person, but... as you know, I came for revenge. Can you even kill me?" he asked. "If I am a world catastrophe who brings about death, why wouldn't I kill you?" I replied. "When I came here, I set my mind to take your life, since you never cared about my existence." "I don't care about anything, Lavender," my dad said. "Do you know who can kill you? It's only me, but I choose to seal you. Your mom protected you with her barrier, that's why you can't be hurt when unconscious. You took her away from me, but how could I kill something she gave her life for?" "Now that you're grown up, you know exactly what it means to fight your father, and you've come to that conclusion. You broke the law first," he said, and all I did was smile, as I couldn't say a word. I stood where I was and watched my father conjure his spear, and I could sense a killing aura. I didn't know, but I felt my body didn't belong to me again. Power began to flow within my veins, though painful, but still bearable. My hands shook violently, and I began to turn around. I decided to let out the energy from my body, and my father was sent flying, but he regained his balance swiftly. "You do have tremendous power, but I created you, so I must end you," he said, enchanting some words, and I felt like screaming, but I kept constraining myself. Not being able to hold it anymore, I let out a loud scream, and he stopped. "You are no match for me. I know your weaknesses more than you, standing me a greater chance than you," he said, turning around and hitting the ground, bringing dust. The water close to me began to evaporate, and he pointed his serpent rod at me, which brought out fire. I began to scream, and I couldn't take it anymore. I decided to let my body have control, and the moment I let my power out, my dad landed on the floor immediately, and the building began to shake. I was going to die here, just then the doors of the hall went open, and I saw him, Lord Rings. He came I thought feeling relieved and I passed out. I woke up to see myself in a strange place on a bed cover. I hurried to the door, opening it, and when I saw it was my hometown, I was forced to swallow hard. That's when I saw him, the mysterious prince. He was making my heart bleed. "Why does he have to see me in my worst state?" I thought. "You are awake," he said, jolting me out of my thoughts. "What are you doing here?" I asked immediately. "Does that matter?" he asked. "Yes, it does. Mischievously using me to your advantage is what I won't condone," I said. "But I think you did what I wanted," he said, and I rushed to him on impulse. He stood still, not blinking. We stared into each other's eyes. "My lord," I heard my stepmom call, and when I looked, she was standing with my dad. I gave them a disdainful look, then turned my gaze back at him and made my way back into the room. I could feel a sense of sympathy from my stepmom, but I cared less. "I will take her back; you don't have to worry. When you are needed, I will let you know. The inconveniences caused will be handled in no delay," my mysterious prince said. "I go nowhere," I said, opening the door. "These people owe me an explanation. I may be a being that causes disaster wherever I go, but I believe no monster is born but created. So, not until I get an explanation, I go nowhere." "If you need an explanation, then go die. That's all you need now. If you are created, end it by your death," my dad said. "I won't run away. I will fight it, whatever I am assigned to do, I will do it diligently. If it's to kill then, I will be more diligent I said trying to sound nonchalant ,but then I will start with your precious children," I said finally. "Lavender," my stepmom called, "this is not what your mother would like to see. You do know how to pretend, but I won't fall for your ideal trap." I said cutting her words short "I used my hand to move Annie from where she hid, and I started to strangle her. Stop!" my stepmom cried. They couldn't hurt me because of Lord Rings. I stared at him, but he didn't stop me. I remembered how Annie would come play with me ,our good memories together rushed into my memory and immediately, I pushed her towards her parents and backed away. "Let's get out of here," I said, looking at the prince. He nodded, and we both walked away. "Lavender!" I heard Annie's voice call, but I cared less. "Lavender!" she called again, but I didn't hear her still. "Lavender, you will always remain my sister, no matter what comes our way," she said. "I want to meet you again, but be sure to prove Dad and everyone wrong. You are Lavender, and we always knew you wouldn't hurt anyone just for fun. Even if you change, I believe that little part of you is still there, so please don't change. Prove the world wrong. I believe in you." Finally, I turned to stare at her, holding back the tears that struggled to rush down my cheeks. I finally walked away with Lord Rings. He held my hand, and we arrived in his room. I dropped to the ground and covered my face, holding back tears, but the more I tried to hold them back, the more vehemently they came out. He covered me with his coat, but I threw it to the ground. I wanted someone to comfort me badly; I didn't want this cold treatment, I thought. Before I knew it, his presence was no longer felt in the room. I squatted there, sobbing gently, until I got tired. I went to lay down on the bed ,when I smelled the aroma of chicken coming from the kitchen. I laid there, thinking about how this mysterious prince came into my life, and that's when the thought of Derek came into my mind. Immediately, I felt the urge to ask him, which made me sit up immediately. Surprisingly, he was there with the chicken ,its aroma flooding through my nose. "Try eating something," he said, dropping the chicken on the bed. I stared at him because I wanted to reject it. "Where is Derek? I haven't seen him in a while," I asked. "Do you want to see him?" he asked, and I nodded. "Eat, and I will take you there," he said. After devouring the chicken, leaving no remains, I drank the cup of water he dropped on the table and stood up to drop the dishes in the kitchen when he rushed to me and took them away. He came back, and I stood beside the bed, staring at him. "I'm ready to see Derek," I said, having bad feelings about why I hadn't seen him around lately. He held my hand, and we appeared in front of what looked like a dungeon. I stared at him, afraid, but hoped it wasn't what I was thinking. We walked inside; a lot of foreigners were imprisoned, and I stared at each one of them. I started feeling strange; my head started spinning, and I started hearing voices. "He is here. Who will he rip today?" they kept whispering in my mind . We got to a narrow path, and we walked in, it was dark. I didn't know there was a staircase there, so I slipped, but he caught me, immediately putting me back in balance. He continued walking. I stared at him because the lights started to lit from where I was. I stared at the dungeon, but saw nothing, but I felt a presence in there. We finally stopped in front of a gate, and I saw Derek trapped within the gate in chains. I was shocked, and I stared at him, terrified at the sight. "How could you put him here?" I asked bitterly. "What did he do so bad that you kept him here?" He turned to face me. "You can see him; he is over there," he said, and the gate went open with no one opening it. "Let's get out of here; we need to talk," I said, walking out. He tried holding my hand, but I dusted his hand off mine. "Don't touch me," I said. He stared at me, and I stared back, not knowing what to say, and continued walking. That's when I felt something grip my leg. I looked down to see a horrific being, and I let out a loud scream.....
