Chapter 14 Ask for Jasmine's release

Mason sat down in the car that was taking him home still thinking about the conversation he had with Eliza. His car thought it was only a scratch on the outside, the engine was badly destroyed. He had to call one of his driver's to pick him up in another car.
He had never wanted to wreck his car, but when he saw Eliza standing in the middle of the road with something clearly on her mind that she couldn't hear the car horns. He could also see that the car wanted to stop but had a break failure that was why he kept horning.
His heart stopped beating when he saw she was not moving away after she saw the car coming, she just crouched down and held her head. When he heard her scream, He didn't know what came over him, he increased the speed of his car and directly crashed his car with the other car sending them both of them flying across the road.
Mason smiled as he remembered the expression on her face when she said that she should be his bride. Her face was so funny that he wanted to laugh, for the first time in four (4) years, he had the urge to laugh. But he held it in so she could see that he was serious.
He closed his eyes and leaned back, she had no choice than to accept his offer, that he knew for sure.

"So, what are going to do Liz?" Alisa asked after she had digested the the whole story.
" I don't know?"Eliza replied as she slumped on her bed lazily.
Thinking for a while, Alisa suddenly smiled as if there was a light bulb in her head.
" Why don't you accept his offer" Eliza raised her head as fast as she could then she gave her a look that asked 'Are you crazy?'
"Just listen to me first.. You could accept his offer and get married to him.."
"Wait your serious!" Eliza eyes widened as she yelled.
" Yes, but all you have to do is be his bride and.. "
" How can I do such a thing? I'm not even in his class? "
"Let me finish" Alisa replied in the same tone, clearly frustrated that Eliza wouldn't let her finish her sentence.
Eliza made an expression of zipping her mouth, then throwing away the key as he motion for Alisa to continue.
"Hm. What I'm trying to say is that, you said his parents wanted him to get married right, so it wouldn't be for a long time, so you get married to him, but before you agree tell him to help Jasmine out of the prison" Alisa said in one breath so Eliza wouldn't be able to interrupt her.
"Who's getting married to who?" The door burst opened and Kiara, Danielle, Lana, Fiona and the boys walked in.
"What are you doing here?" Eliza asked and watched their face changed pink from embarrassment. They were clearly eves dropping.
"Were you guys eves dropping on our conversation?" Alisa asked the obvious question just to make fun of them.
"What if we were? We just wanted to be informed about everything happening in this house" Jason shurgged his shoulders and answered like it was the most normal thing to do.
" Yes, we don't want a situation like what happened the last time, just to wake up and see that your gone" Kiara added making Eliza fell guilty.
" Fine, fine, no need to make Liz feel sorry again, I'll tell you everything later.. "Alisa said when she felt the change of atmosphere. Then she continued
" But for now, I want you guys to help me convince Eliza to marry Mason "
" What Mason wants to marry her? " Lana asked making all eyes turn to her
" Were you not eves dropping with us? " Fiona asked which made everyone laugh dropping, reducing the tension that was in the air after Kiara spoke.
" I don't know, would he agree if I made such a request? and what can he do anyways? "Eliza pouted as she said which left some mouths opened.
Fiona shook her head and spoke
" Let me answer all your questions. The first one, em.. he may agree since he was the one who asked you, but you wrecked his car so he has a bigger advantage because I've seen the type of car he rides, even if we sell this house, we still wouldn't be able to pay for his car.. "
" You heard that? How long were you guys eves dropping? "Alisa asked in surprise
Diana laughed shyly
" Since you walked into the room"
" What? Why didn't you say anything till now? "Eliza asked curiously
" Your voice began getting lower that we couldn't understand what you were saying anymore so, that's when we decided to go in " Dion clarified.
" Ok, now the second question you asked what Mason Kendell could do, as in the CEO of Kendell International Enterprises, I mean One of the richest most handsome eligible bachelors in this city..."
" Just get to the point" Eliza groaned, but she was getting the fact that Mason may be even bigger than what she was told by them in the beginning.
" What I'm trying to say is, Young Master Kendell, can do anything. He could just make a phone call and the news about Jasmine arrest could be wiped out. He could also use that same phone call to get Jasmine released. He literally owns this city" Fiona ended dragging the literally so Eliza could understand.
And Eliza did. Before she thought that it was only her and her son he could make disappear, but after hearing what Fiona said, she understood that not only could he make her and her son disappear, he could also make everyone present in this room vanish as well.
"I don't think it would be a good idea. I have a son, and I.." Eliza wanted to refute but was stopped by Alisa
" Do you seriously think that we don't know that Mason is Dion's father? "
" What? " How could they find out so fast? Eliza asked herself
Jason as if reading her mind answered her question
"We know you and Mason had something together, the girls told us. So after you came back with a son the splitting image of Mason, we all knew. All I want to know is why didn't you tell us?"
Eliza didn't know what to say, should she say that she couldn't tell them because in the beginning she was contemplating abortion, or she should say that after she decided to keep the baby, her parents found out and wanted to use it as a leverage to get her married into the Kendell's family. She looked at all of them and she could tell that they were hurt, but she had no choice.
Taking a deep breath she explained
"I got a call from my mother a few days after I found out I was pregnant, she said she that she knew I was pregnant, and she was proud of me.. "
" How did your mother know, because we didn't know until we saw your medical report after you left.. " Kiara quickly clapped her mouth shut.
" You saw my medical report? "
Lana shook her head and said
"After you left we searched your room to find any clue of why you left and where you went to, that was when we saw your medical test result, that you were pregnant "
" How did your mother know? "
" It turns out, she had been watching me the whole time. Like a hawk she had been keeping a close eye on me waiting for me to f**k up"
" That aside, what did your mother say? "Alisa quickly wanting to hear the full story.
" She wanted to use that as a leverage to get me married into the Kendell's family"
"What? That woman is cruel" Dion remarked and Eliza nodded.
"I couldn't do it as that was the reason why I created this group in the first place, that was why I left".
