school (pt 2)

The fourth period was really clear and simple. I did not have any of my siblings in class. I loved the fact that it was the only class I didn't have with them, given how they ruin the rest of my classes even when the teachers don't notice or even try to help. I just have to put up with it until the end of the day, when I know I can go home. Not that that location is any better. I enjoy my art lesson; my teacher is just great, her name is Miss. Leeks. She makes you think on a completely different level. And we always work on unique projects. I was so caught up in the class that I didn't notice when the lunch bell rang. I was startled when my teacher touched my shoulder. To inform me that lunch will be served. Soon after, I had to leave the classroom. I exit the room and walk towards the cafeteria. I hear laughter and snickers behind me, which aren't loud enough for me to hear clearly, but I catch a few phrases in passing. I dislike my peers at this small school. They were all obstinate and lacked grit. The only solace I have is in the friendships I've formed here with Jeremiah. He may seem peculiar at times, and let's be honest, he is very homosexual in all he does, but he is a buddy like no other in whom I can depend and trust. Though he's my only pillar of support, he can occasionally be a little too much. Before we moved here, I didn't understand how much I needed it, but now I can't live without it. By this, I don't mean that I have a romantic view of him. My relationship with him is more akin to a genuine friendship. I can't explain it. Looking around, I eventually see him sitting there, carefree and just going about his thing. He's working on his homework, I believe. Disregarding the peons, they made remarks behind his back because they couldn't possibly be as amazing as him.
