The day couldn’t have been any hotter. The sun seemed to be angrier than most days, shinning rays so hot they pierced through the skin. Drom sat on one end of a log, improvised as a bench. He stared into the blank sky, waiting for clouds to drift across it and fantasize what the shape of the cloud could represent. As the midday sun heightened temperatures to unbearable degrees, Drom finally gave in and decided to walk back into his shack. His skin was already tanned.
