Kris got home and parked her ‘new’ car. She had driven it for the first time two days ago and just remembering the fateful afternoon of her birthday when she had received the car had been emotional. It had taken her a while to claim ownership for obvious reasons, but her friends had convinced her that she looked good behind the wheel of the expensive car and that she might as well enjoy the comforts of her father spoiling her while it lasted.
