We sat in uncomfortable silence until Xen came back carrying a fish that was still wriggling and the canteen. By the time Xen had the fish cleaned and had skewered pieces of it on sticks to roast, the sunlight was gone completely, leaving us with only the light of the fire. As hungry as I was though, my body was less interested in food than it was in sleep. I groaned as I lay down, relishing in the ability to stretch out after so long crammed in that cage. The only way to lay that didn’t cause more pain was on my stomach, a prospect generally prohibited by the size of my breasts. Right then, though, it didn’t seem to matter.
