Vishaka's POV Suns first ray falls on my still closed eyelids. I wake up to brace this day with all my heart. I part the curtains away so that I can take a look at that beautiful garden decorated by my mom. My amma my appa (dad) my family. I am 24 year old independent woman. I live in Bangalore cause you know job and stuff. I am an assistant professor in a architecture college from where I graduated actually. Dnyan Peth. (Meaning a platform for knowledge) college Bangalore. I am currently in my home town, and also in a beautifully decorated house with flowers, garlands, bouquets etc. Why? Cause today is my wedding with Aniket Raghavendran. The CEO of Anukalpana grp of architects (Anukalpana meaning rethinking). A master architect at such a young age of 30 and also a visiting faculty at my college. A built frame, beautiful brown eyes, serious look, thick jet black hair side parted with some bangs in front, 6 feet tall. What else u need in such a perfect husband material. My family was strictly against love marriage. Amma used to always say just focus on u r studies well find u a wonderful guy. And tada here he is..... I am really happy to have such a perfect husband, well by tomorrow he will be. The only dissatisfaction is his indifferent behaviour. Well we are 6 years apart in our ages but can't he just laugh, ok fine smile atleast. What with this sir Oracle face all the time. Once we had been to a cafe after our engagement and Sir Aniket is not ready to even open his smile at me let alone speaking. I hope this behavior of his changes with time. I hope he is a bit funny, a bit romantic ,a bit shy , a bit chatty. Cause his looks are killer to my virgin heart. I hope his family accepts me. Thinking about which i remember appa's words. A month ago when this engagement was finalized and the grooms family left my house my appa cupped my pale cheeks in his both hands protectively, as if he is handling a precious gem which is very dear to him. He said " Being a daughter's dad is the scariest thing in the world. Imagine how can I give away my precious doll whose been in this house under my protection for 24 years now. How can I convince my heart that after some days I won't be able to see my baby girl again in this house, will I ever be able to convince myself that my daughter now belongs to some one else" and he broke into sobs. I couldn't calm him down. It is an arranged marriage and I want to fulfill all my parents wishes. And after today I will be Vishaka Raghavendran. You all are invited for the wedding. As south Indian wedding are held in evenings. As God always joins the perfect pieces I hope he has also matched me with my correct missing piece. _________________________________________ Hey good readers thankyou for reading this chapter plz comment u r views so that I can understand my flaws and also understand the percentage of people liking my writing.
