Chapter Four

"Have you decided about my proposition?"

Agatha cleared her throat. She's done practicing what she's going to say to Genesis but she can't utter  a  single word. She could eat her heart out because her heart is beating fast.

Maybe she can write it on paper or just text him her answer, right?

She can't help but smile at the thought. Her idea is really absurd.

"Does your smile means you're accepting my proposal?" he said with an amusement tone on his voice.

She looked at him, her face flushed.

"I don't know how to say this, but.."

His smile vanished. She was surprised when he hold her hand.

"I am hoping you'll consider my proposition to you. If you want to give conditions, I will definitely accept it as long as it meets our agreement."

She blink her eyes.

What is he saying? Is he thinking that she is not accepting his proposition?

"I can give you another week to think about this, Agatha. Just say yes."

What is he doing?

If Agatha won't accept his proposition, he can hire someone to be his pretentious wife.

'But they are not Agatha..'

Wait.. What was that mean?

What does he mean by that?

Is he in love with Agatha?

Love? He don't think so.

Yes, Agatha is indeed attractive.

And he barely know her so it is impossible to be called love.

A physical attraction, perhaps.

Agatha shake her head.

His heart sank. Is it really hard for her to agree on his proposition?

He remove his hand on hers. And he cleared his throat to cover up the tension he is feeling right now. He stood up, decided not to look Agatha.

He doesn't want her to see the disappointment in his eyes.

"Wait. Can you let me tell you what I really want?"

He paused and looked at her.

He saw her smiling. He looked at her lips.

He sat in front of her and slowly, he descend his face upon hers. He cupped her face with his hands.

He can't resist the fact that he want to kiss her.

His lips met hers. Her lips tastes so sweet, it's soft.

The gentle kiss they are sharing goes deep. His hands started to caress her shoulders and arms.

He heard a moan.

Is it him or is it her who moaned loudly.

His kiss went down her neck. He plant wet kisses on her bare shoulders. Then he went back on kissing her lips.

He cupped his breast. The dress she is wearing is not enough to not feel the heat in his hand.

The doorbell made him stop what they are doing.

He cursed silently as he let go of her.

"Fix yourself. I'll be back."

She nodded.

He opened the door and saw his twin brother James.

"What are you doing here?" he said.

"Aren't you going to invite me inside? I want a drink. And a warm welcome from my dearest twin brother."

James give him a hug and a pat on his shoulders.

His forehead crease on what his brother's action.

James is not that usually this affectionate.

Does he have a problem?

"I have something important to do. I can't let you in."

He smirked. "Is there a woman inside that's why you're not going to let me in?"

"It's none of your business."

"Oh, so there's really a woman inside your penthouse. Why don't you introduce me to her? I want to meet my future sister-in-law."

"Cut the crap, James. There is no woman inside. I am doing something about my business so you better mind your own."

James chuckled.

He is worried Agatha might hear them and show herself.

He cannot afford her to meet his twin brother.

He cannot let James take away Agatha from him, like what he did before to someone dear to him.

"You're very transparent, Gene. You're still the same, old Genesis that I know."

"Just get the hell out of here." he hissed.

"Alright, alright. Just text me if you change your mind."

He sighed with relief and closed the door. He turned around and saw Agatha standing in front of him.

Did she saw and heard everything?

"Who is it? It took you so long to get back that's why I followed you."

"Uhm.. there's a delivery package sent to the wrong address."

"Oh, I see."

"Where are we earlier?"

He saw her blushed and looked away.

He chuckled when he remembered what they are doing before James bothered them.

He is feeling that everything will be exciting.

Especially now that Agatha will surely accept his proposition.
