Chapter 6 | Kiara

1659 Words
Kiara Kiara placed the cigarette between her lips, inhaling the smoke into her lungs and enjoying the dizziness and relaxation it bought aftermath. Kiara wasn't that much of a smoker but whenever she felt the need to be less sober to deal with matters and alcohol wasn't available, a cigarette could be of some help. She hears footsteps behind her as she gazes out of the balcony to the field of daffodils that surround the mansion. It's funny that how everything else had changed and yet, the nature remains the same. It had been eight years, after all. This mansion harbored many sweet memories for Kiara, but she pushed them all away from her mind. Those familiar voices of giggles still rang in her ears. The smiles that she and Zain had shared in this place were still stamped in her mind. But then, she grew up. Her father's death had taught her a cruel lesson - that life isn't a bouquet of flowers. Its sucks and if you want to get through it, you need to be tough. This world is no place for kindness. "He has packed, Miss." her bodyguard, Aman informed. She sighed and threw the cigarette to the ground, squashing it with her heels. She ran her hands through her hair, she hated doing this. But her father wanted this so she would do it for him. "His acceptance letter and marksheets with all the documents are there?" she asked him, her eyes still focused on the daffodils. She wanted nothing more to run in those fields again, but she was in no place to do so. She owned the place after all so she could come back anytime. Every single thing on this land was hers now and she still couldn't wait to get out of here. Those memories were haunting. "Yes, Miss. His passport is cleared too." Aman informed. "The girl?" she asks. "Is here." he replies. "Good, let's get out of here." With one last look at the field, she turns and marches out. Her neutral face was back on and she really wished she had a glass of whisky for herself right now. When she gets back home though, she surely was going to indulge herself in some. As she walks down the stairs, she is greeted by the sight of her uncle and his wife. She still couldn't believe that he remarried, his first wife was the kindest woman she had ever met and no one could ever replace her place. Kiara knew that she had committed suicide and she very much knew the reason. They were standing in front of her, after all. There was no way she was going to leave this place without avenging her death. The wife, was crying hysterically while holding on to her equally terrified son. Kiara loved the way they looked at her in death. Their fear was just fueling Kiara's ambition and she would absolutely love doing what she had planned for them. Kiara walked towards her uncle with an evil smirk on her face. She smiled as her gaze turned to her uncle's left hand and if it was for her, the man would already be revealed of the pain. She wished nothing more of a bullet in his head but she knew that she would be too kind to do that. He deserved a slow torture that Kiara had planned for him. "Now, dear uncle, stop being so dramatic and get up. My car awaits for you. I can't be more eager to show you your new home, the one you can never escape from. The Yadav's Hospital for the Weak awaits you. Oh, and a word of advice, do what they say because if you don't then you will definitely end up dead by the end of the week." she says as her men pick up the old man, dragging him out of the house as he cries. Kiara doesn't even listen to his protests, the man deserved what he was happening to him. The mental hospital will certainly take a very good care of him. Kiara guessed that he would be able to survive the dilemma for about a month or so before he finally surrenders to the unique treatment that awaited him. Her attention then turned to the slut and her son who were looking at her with fear in their eyes. Kiara walked towards her, the anger inside her ready to erupt. When she had ordered a complete search on Zain, she had come to know about everything that was going on in his life. Imagine her anger when she was informed what his stepmother did to her with her brother. Kiara wanted nothing more to slit the woman's throat but it was Zain's right to give the punishment and not hers. Judging by the good boy Zain is, she was sure that he would just let them go which was completely unacceptable by her. So, she decided to take the matters in her own hands. "What have we got here? The slut and her p***y son. What should I do with you two?" she says, a smirk forming on her face. "P-Please l-let us g-go." the woman shuttered. Kiara laughed at the woman's thought. She really thought that Kiara was merciful, didn't she? "Now, why would I do that? After all you had done with Zain? You see, I hate when people hurt what is mine and well, slut, you did the same. I am, although, letting you go." she says. The woman looks at her, eyes wide opened. Kiara simply laughed at her reaction. Did she really think it will be that simple? "My men will take you to your new home. But let's get this clear. If you try to find your way out of that place, I will know. If you try to contact anyone, I will know. If you seek your filthy brother, I will know. If you even dare to be the greedy woman you are, I will know. And trust me, you don't want me to know. Enjoy poverty, slut. It will teach you a lesson or two." she says as her men grab the woman and her son and drag them out of the house. "Please! I have a son!" the woman pleaded as she was dragged out but Kiara couldn't care less. The fact she was still alive should be enough for her to shut her damn mouth. "W-Where are they taking her and Armaan?" Kiara hears a voice behind her and as she turns she is met by the charming sight of Zain. Kiara couldn't believe her eyes when she saw him for the first time. Zain was exceptionally handsome, with his dark brown eyes and diamond jawline. His charcoal black hair were messed up, some falling into his eyes and his body was drool worthy. He looked absolutely delicious. And now, he was all hers. "The slums." she replied, her voice turning cold. She couldn't let feeling get in the way. "A-And my f-father?" he asked, shuttering. "Mental hospital." she replied. Kiara saw the look of shock that formed on his face but he spoke nothing. It was for his own good, she wasn't in the mood for a talk anyway. "Miss, the girl?" Aman asked. "Get her here." she told him. The next thing she knows, was the annoying voice of the girl that filled in the silence that surrounded the mansion. Kiara didn't know why she hated her so much even though she had never met her in her entire life. "Let go of me, you oaf!" the girl complained, which irritated Kiara more. "Will you f*****g shut up?" Kiara said, quickly quietening the girl.  Kiara turned to face the girl, not liking what she saw. She looked ordinary. With her tanned skin and black hair, the girl looked nothing special. Was her parents really wealthy? She didn't look like it. Kiara had no idea why Zain was even with her, she was nothing exciting. "Nikita?" Zain said as he rushed towards the girl, scooping her in his arms. Well, s**t. This was it for Kiara. He was hers, so how dare he touch that pathetic excuse of a girl? Kiara walked towards the couple. When she neared them, she pushed Zain away from her, grabbing him by his wrist and making him face her. "Whatever you have with her, end it." she says. "W-What?" Zain replied, confused. "Break up with her, Goddammit!" Kiara waited patiently as Zain's face turned one to that of a horror. "No! Why the hell should he listen to you? Zain, don't do this, baby. Look at me. We will get help. We don't need to listen to this bitch." the girl says. Should have kept her pretty mouth shut. Kiara faced the girl, not liking the words that escaped her mouth. She grabbed the girl by her collar and pulled her closer. "Now, listen to me, asswipe. Zain is mine. He has been since the day he was born. You were just a small bump on the road but if you ever dare to touch him again, I will cut you pretty little fingers and feed them to you. Trust me, I will do it without even blinking my eyes." Kiara threatened the girl. She watched as the girl's face morphed to that of horror and Kiara smirked. She really was the Devil's child. "He will never love you." the girl says and as soon as she does, she is met with a punch on her pretty face. That was certainly going to bruise up later. But Zain didn't move as he watched the girl fall. He was simply staring at Kiara. "He isn't yours, anymore!" Kiara says. Kiara looks at Aman, too angry to even face Zain. From where did he even find this b***h? "Take him back home. I have some business to look after here." she tells Aman. "Yes, Miss." Aman replies as he grabs Zain by his hands and takes him away. "Zain? You had something to say." Kiara says as he walks past her. Zain turns towards her and then, at Nikita. Kiara knew then that she had won this battle. "I am breaking up with you, Nikita." he says. Aman then grabs him and they walk out of this place. Kiara hoped, never to return here again.
