I couldn’t stop pacing and for one reason. I have never felt so useless before in my whole entire life. I felt as if all of this was for nothing,the pack ,the power -everything.It felt so painful losing the mother of my unborn child because it meant I didn’t have them both close to me.
I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed my betas number. Yes, I could just mind link him but that wasn’t necessary.
“Alpha” Chris responded
I breathed out trying to be calm “Have you gotten any leads yet?”
“No not yet,we are still searching” Chris said and my heart dropped because that is definitely not the answer I wanted to hear.
My hands were shaking as I tightened the grip on my phone “By now something bad could have already happened,search faster! Turn everything upside down I don’t care!”
