The week went without event. Damian had men on the ground looking into any and all the could find about to activities of the Saints. He wanted to know where all the prominent players were. What businesses they had their greedy little hands into, and what happened to the last president. For some reason he appeared to have just vanished.
Dominic was working with the police too. Keeping their investigation under close scrutiny. He knew there were cops on the take in the department, and he knew some worked for the Saints, and some worked for the family.. He was busy running down some leads on his own. He had still to get a picture of this Shaun character. He was being elusive and hard to track down. And Dominic was beginning to notice that the cops that had claimed to have talked to him , and said he didn't fit the description of the shooter were working for the Saints. He was beginning to think it was all bullshit, and They were trying to lay down a layer of protection for him. Dominic made it his mission to find this guy.
Donavan got in on Saturday morning. Dominic met his plane and brought him to the club. They all met in Damian's apartment upstairs. Saoirse was so happy to see her father. She hugged him tightly.
Once they all had coffee they sat at the table to talk. Dominic brought them all up to date on what he had learned from Detective Martins and his theory about certain cops helping to hide the Saints involvement in Lena's death. And how those same cops were busy trying to clear Shaun O'Rourke from being a suspect. He wasn't able to tell them where he was hiding yet, but he did have men watching Liam's house and the storefront that they were headquartered out of. So far no sightings, but he was hopeful. He was able to tell them that the man they had caught here at the club had turned up at the storefront. And that Liam had showed up soon after the man did. When Liam left, he looked pissed! Which pleased both Donavan and Damian.
"Then he knows we are aware of what he was doing to get to Saoirse." Donavan said.
"I'm sure he does. But I haven't been allowing her out without security. Either I or Dominic go with her and we have a trailing car to follow. But she really doesn't go anywhere. Silver works here so the girls meet here to visit."Damian explained. I have beef up security here at the club as well and Silver is being brought back and forth too. I'm trying to cover all bases."
Donavan smiled. "I can see that. Well, I'm here to help. Give me a job. I want to stop these son's of bitches from hurting my girl. I think once Liam realizes I'm here he'll s**t a brick. I want to be here when he sees my face."
Saoirse hugged her dad again. Dominic stood. "Let me get you to your hotel first. It's not far and then I'll get you familiar with the club and our security. I can also get you into a suit so you can work security with our guys."
Donavan grinned. "Do I get a gun too?" He joked.
"That could be arranged." Dominic was saying as he led Donavan out the apartment and down stairs to the waiting car.
"He won't really give Da a gun will he?' Saoirse looked worriedly into Damian's eyes. He shrugged.
"He might." He answered honestly. "The more eyes we have on you the safer you'll be. Who better to protect you than you own father." He slipped his arms around her waist.
She leaned into him. "He's been doing it my entire life life." She whispered.
"Well I'm jumping on the Saoirse band wagon too. I won't let anyone hurt you or you father. We'll keep him here at the club to watch over you. He can escort you from the dressing room to stage and back again. That way someone is with you at all times. Especially if I get tangled up in business. I am still running a club. Best to make sure they aren't suspicious of what we're doing. It will appear business as usually."
She nodded. "Okay! I better get in gear. I have a new move I need to work out. I'm calling it a the death fall." She said as she moved towards the door.
"Wait! What?" He was following her down the stairs.
"Don't worry! It will be great!" She grinned over her shoulder at him." I free fall down the pole and grab it at the last second. It will be really cool."
"Oh that doesn't sound so bad." He states following her. He heads to the bar area and starts going over inventory while she sets up mats on stage around the pole. He's not really paying to close attention to her because he knows she's in her element. She has a couple of the guys standing by the she climbs the pole. It's a tall one so she pretty high up under the stage. Then she flips upside down and locks her legs around the pole. Her hands have a grip on the pole and she arches her head back and up to look out over the lounge area. Then she starts to rotate around the pole. Gaining some momentum she allows her legs to fall into a split, with her toes pointed. Damian stops what he's doing for a minute to watch her. Then suddenly she lets go of the pole and fall towards the floor face first. Damian drops his papers and starts running towards the stage. "Saoirse!" He gasps. Her hands come back in at the last minute and she catches herself inches from the mats on the floor. She pulls her legs back together then arches out into a back bend and stands up. A huge grin on her face. He jumps up on the stage and grabs her shoulders. His hands trembling. "What the hell was that?" He can hardly speak.
"I told you, The death fall." Her green eyes are still smiling.
"No!" He grabs her into his body. "You are not doing that! I forbid it." His voice is gruff.
"Damian, It's part of my new dance." She pushes out from him. "You can't forbid me to do it. I'm my own choreographer remember? I won't do anything I can't handle." She looks at him seriously. "Damian. This is what I do. Would you want me trying to tell you how to do what you do?"
"What I saw right there Saoirse was dangerous. You could have broken you neck!" She put her hands on his cheeks. She leaned in and kissed him softly. She knew the move scared him, but she was in control. There was no dance partner to mess up her dance. "Trust me. When it comes to my abilities in dance I trust myself better than I trust anyone. You protect me out there." She nodded to the lounge. "I'll protect me up there." She looked up to the top of the pole. His eyes followed hers.
He nodded. "Okay, just please, warn me when you do that. I don't know if I can watch again."
She wrapped her arms around his neck then jumped a little and wrapped her legs around his waist. He grabbed her hips to hold her pressed into him. "Baby we are just getting to know each other. I want to stick around and see where this is going. I won't hurt myself." She pressed her forehead against his.
He turned and carried her off the stage and took her to her dressing room. His foot kicked the door shut and he sat down with her in his lap on the small sofa. His erection pushing through his pants and into her.
He captured her mouth in a searing kiss. He kissed her so hard her lips were swollen when they broke apart. One of his hands was clamped around her breast. "Baby I know you've never been with a man before, but I sure hope soon you plan on changing that because I'm loosing my mind for wanting you." He breathed into her mouth.
She was breathing hard. She ground her hips against him. Feeling the hardness of his c**k against her. She ran her hand through his hair and kissed him. Moaning into his mouth.
"When you do that my blood feels like it's on fire." He whispers into her neck.
"My whole body feels on fire." She shivered."I want you Damian. I want you in every way." She arched her head back giving him access to her neck. He pushed her on her back on the sofa. He covered her with his body. Her legs were still wrapped around his middle. He started humping into her core.
"The first time we make love it won't be on a small little sofa in your dressing room, but maybe someday this little thing will come in handy for some of our more passionate moments." He smiled down into her eyes. "I will be making love to you Saoirse. Not right now, but soon."
"Promise?' She whispered.
"Oh baby. Nothing could stop me." He kissed her hard the let her go and stood up. "I need to get back to work, and Dominic and your dad should be back soon." He moved to the door. "You aren't planning to do the death fall tonight are you?" He asked before he left her.
"No. I still need to tweak it a bit. Maybe next week sometime. I won't do it till I'm sure I have it perfected."
After he left, it wasn't long till her Da came in looking for her. He sat on the sofa and watched her go through costumes and prepare for the night. It was Silver's night off so she wasn't able to introduce them but she was really happy to have him there. He followed her down the hallway to the stage when it was time to perform and walked her back to her dressing room till her next set. When the club closed he walked her back up to Damian's apartment.
"So you are living with him?" He dad asked.
"Well no. I'm staying here until the threat is over. I live with Silver a few blocks over in a loft." She answered.
"I'm not blind Saoirse. I see the way Damian looks at you. He watches you like a hawk. Not that I'm complaining. I think he's an upstanding man and he obviously cares for." He shrugged. "I guess you could have done worse. At least he has his own business and his cousin Dominic is a good man too."
She laughed. "Yes Da." She hugs him. "They both are very good to me. They are also very protective. I'll be honest Da, I think I'm falling in love with Damian. He makes me feel things. Real feelings."
"Okay girl. Let's get all this crap fixed so you can get back to taking your life back. That means Ivan too. He's back in Seattle, and he and his girlfriend Tanya are claiming that he never intended to hurt you. He doesn't know I have the video feed. I thought I'd give the police and opportunity to talk to him. He's claiming innocence. Lets take care of this, then we'll get Ivan." He kissed her good night then went downstairs to help the guys close up.
