Your place or mine?

225 Words
"Life is all about choices'' I read the meme on my f*******: page, smiled to myself and scrolled down. Do we really get to make all those choices or are they made for us. I am Priya Patel. Single daughter to a rich divorced Delhiite Mr and ex-Mrs Patel. I grew up partly in hostels and partly while watching my parents fight with each other. They set a perfect example why love is overrated. They loved buildings, brand new cars, amalgamations, takeovers and finally when they got some love to spread they loved me or at least I believe they believed, they loved me. I expected a lot from them until a certain point of time, I don't really remember when I stopped expecting anything from them, I guess it turned into a habit, then ignorance and later total indifference. I lit a cigarette while sitting on the revolving chair in the Police Station of Thane. Nikhil came into the chamber I was sitting in, "Are you sure you are going to turn me down again?" I got up from the chair, " I haven't yet learned to regret Officer. See you" I came out of the station and dialed my present booty call director friend, I mean friend with added benefit, "Are we on for tonight?" Javed replied " Yeah your place or mine?"
