Landyn decided to send me early to scope out the area with Raya and Remi. He normally would have sent Brody because he is the best tracker. Considering that his mom is behind everything, we all thought it was best that i go instead.
Luckily, i didn't have to go through the forbidden forest. Laura knew exactly how to get there and gave me directions. It made me feel a little uncomfortable knowing that Charles used to take her there. Really, the whole situation between Raya, Laura, and Charles makes me uncomfortable.
