The hunter ginned as soon as he saw me. He was missing a few teeth now. Dried blood was smeared everywhere, and it nearly covered half his body. He leaned his head against the wall. "What can i do for you, princess? I take it your little mate has left already?"
So he did know. I titled my head in curiosity. "So you know about that?"
He smiled evily. "Im the one who told them to go."
I should have known. "Why? What are you not telling me?"
