The look Ben was giving me was making me sweat. I didn't want to disappoint him. I didn't want to disappoint anyone. I was trying to do better. Some things i just couldn't.
I wasn't expecting him to follow me outside of the hospital room. I thought he would stay right next to Maureen so i could sneak off. I was a coward, and i knew it.
