Ben's POV
We waited outside the old rundown cabin that Lily said Maureen was in. It took everything i had not to barge into the cabin and take my family to safety. If it wasn't for Laura and Myles, i probably would have. My wolf was out for blood, and as much as Lily told me not to and that we were trying to keep the peace, it was hard for my wolf not to avenge our mate.
I wasn't sure what was being said. I couldn't quite make out what Lily was saying to Evelynn through the phone. I was trying to foucs so hard trying to hear the conversation that i didn't hear Brody approuch me from behind. I nearly screamed out and blew our cover.
