It was already very late and Kate was already within the boarders of the land of slumber. As the realization crept in, a chill ran down my spine. I stared at the message for a few minutes in complete horror. The thoughts that ran through my mind did not sit right with me at all. I had completely forgotten that Kate's parents were still at the house, and I presumed that Kate had forgotten as well. Now i had a choice - wake Kate up and tell her about this, or let her sleep and pretend like i had such knowledge of what was happening at home. I did understand and i was not sure i wanted to understand.
I made the choice to ignore it and went to bed. I was awoken the next morning by a very loud Kate.
"Miles! Miles! Miles! Miles! Miles!"
"What?!"
I jumped out of bed and screamed at her as
