"I come and go, around Maya as needed," Athens smirked.
"Where did you come from?" The Beta Alec snapped stepping between Riley and Athens.
"Easy, I can appear and disappear where ever I want." Athens shrugged, "I am head of the Vampire Council at 5,000 years old." Athens's body language remained slack and loose.
"He...Head of the council?" Stuttered the Beta Alec.
"Yeppers," Athens smiled and winked.
"Athens promised an ancestor of mine he would look after the bloodline." I smiled offhandedly.
"Ohhh," both Beta Alec and Riley nodded.
I heard footsteps to see, Alpha Dorian puffed. "The vampire is here?" Glancing at Athens.
"It's Lord Athens head of the Vampire Council Alpha," The Beta announced.
You could see the slight relaxation in the Alpha's muscle before it was back.
