Victoria’s last customer of the day was leaving the shop as Alexis entered. She welcomed her and turned the closed signed over in the front window. Leading Alexis to the backroom, Victoria could feel a change in the young witch’s energy.
“Have you been performing rituals today, my dear?” she probed.
“Actually I have in preparation for our meeting. I thought it was best to come cleansed and grounded so that I may be open to your teachings.”
Alexis was tingling from the protection shield the others cast upon her. The rituals she had performed on her own made her more open to the energies around her. She could feel a strange pulsating vibration below her, but did not want to focus on it for fear that Victoria would pick up on it.
