Riley was asleep when she heard a noise upstairs. It sounded like broken glass. She heard Keira cry and ran upstairs. She didn’t see Bane on her way up, but made her way into the nursery all the same. Her baby was in danger, and nothing else mattered. What she saw, was a young woman with long dark curls pinned half back away from her youthful face. She had the same blue eyes as Bane. She was holding Keira and glanced over at Riley with a curious look in her cold gaze. “You must be Riley. My brother chose well. You have a cute baby, Riley. I love babies. So small and defenseless.” “Please, put my daughter down. She’s an innocent.” “I’m not going to hurt her, silly. We want you. Alive. The baby will make you behave.” Isabelle cooed down at the baby.
