Riley could barely stand to get out of bed. She was so depressed. She had laid in that bed for nearly two days and did little but stare at the wall and wonder what could have possessed Bane to reject her, why he had been so heartless. She was deep in her own melancholy thoughts when her door came swinging open and Alice sauntered through. She yanked back the thick blankets and stood there with her hands on her hips until Riley had no choice but to turn and look at her. "Get up." Alice demanded. Riley laughed coldly and growled back at her. "As your Alpha, you don't get to boss me around." She countered. Alice scoffed at her and rolled her eyes.
