As he opened the door to her room, he was met with a sight of Rake, Hope and Sam, who seemed busy engaged in a discussion with Diana, who also seemed quite happy but she still lacked a bit of colour. He could tell she was still weak and she still needed to rest well, but he wasn’t sure he could break the bubble they were in. They all seemed happy and were so lost in whatever it was they were talking about, so much so that they hadn’t noticed his presence. Even though he was happy and relived to see her finally awake, she still wasn’t strong enough and he needed to check her if she had indeed fully recovered. He also needed to ask her some questions, as he needed answers to fully understand exactly what happened.
