Yun Tang helped Baiyue into his car by opening the door. He felt a bit nervous, as he had never imagined letting someone into his safe zone. Baiyue smiled and thanked him before sitting in the back seat. Yun Tang sat beside him and closed the door.

"Where do you live?" Yun Tang asked his younger classmate.

"I live on Wujian Road," Aiden said, trying to remember the street he had passed earlier. Yun Tang nodded and instructed his driver to head to that street.

"This is the first time someone has tried to help me. People think I'm cold and hard to talk to," Aiden said, smiling a little.

"Host, be careful not to go out of character," Enle reminded Aiden, causing him to pause.

"Don't worry, this is Nán Shén, so it's okay. I'm just doing my task. Now be quiet, I'm planting seeds," Aiden replied to Enle, who then apologized and fell silent.

Yun Tang felt a weight lift off his heart; at least he wasn't the only one experiencing this for the first time. "I see. Then I will be your friend." He was surprised by his own words, but he felt determined not to be rejected. He had to be Baiyue's friend.

Baiyue's eyes sparkled at the word "friend." He hadn't expected Yun Tang to initiate friendship. "Okay! You are my first friend."

Aiden chuckled secretly; he hadn’t thought he would be successful in planting a seed in Yun Tang's heart.

"If anyone tries to bother you, just tell me," Yun Tang said, implying, "I've got your back." This made Aiden even happier.

He then began to talk more around Yun Tang, who was willing to listen, even if it was just random chatter. Baiyue mentioned seeing a dog earlier running away from a cat.

It was the most random conversation Yun Tang had ever had, but he didn’t mind. He liked seeing the interesting expressions on Baiyue's face.

As they reached Baiyue's street, Yun Tang felt a bit disappointed. How could the road be so short? It felt like only a minute had passed since he started listening to Baiyue, Yun Tang thought.

"Well, this is where I live," Baiyue said, pointing to a small apartment outside the window. Yun Tang's driver stopped the car and opened the doors.

Yun Tang felt reluctant to part ways with his little classmate, but he didn't want to tire Baiyue. "I see, go now... Your parents might be waiting for you."

Baiyue was initially stunned but then gave a small smile. "See you tomorrow, Nán Shén. Goodnight and be careful on the road."

Yun Tang saw the sadness on Baiyue's face because of what he had said. He wanted to apologize, but Baiyue had already stepped out of the car, waving his small hands.

"Go inside, it's getting cold. I'll see you tomorrow, Baiyue." Yun Tang watched Baiyue wave his hand before he hurriedly went inside the house. This made the corner of Yun Tang's lips curl up a little, which was noticed by his driver, who was surprised but did not speak, not wanting to be scolded by his boss.

As Baiyue's figure disappeared from sight, Yun Tang's cold expression returned. He rolled up the car window and looked straight ahead. "Let's go home."

Aiden sighed in relief as he closed his door tightly. "That second Nán Shén, I can feel he's not that simple."

Enle, appearing as a small sunflower, responded, "Host... What do you expect? He let someone bully Baiyue to death. Of course, even if he's not the protagonist, he has his own halo as a Nán Shén."

"En, so if I have him in my grasp, Daiyu wouldn't be able to find trouble for me from now on," Aiden said proudly, a smile on his face.

Since he decided to clean his new house, his body moved and cleaned everything, even the ceiling and the kitchen. It was 11pm already when he felt satisfied by seeing the sparkles on his walls and floors.

But who is Daiyu? Of course, she's the shameless heroine. No one could stop her from doing what she wanted.

Aiden looked towards the big bulletin board while having a conversation with Enle in his mind. It was because of the picture plastered on the big bulletin board—him in grade school wearing a girl’s dress.

The bullying never stopped until he was in grade school. He was in sixth grade at the time, and it was November, so of course, you know what event is in November.

There was a party where everyone had their own costumes except him. His friend from grade school lent him a costume, telling him it was okay to wear the pink tutu dress and shiny pink wings. But when Baiyue arrived at the party, his classmates began to laugh at him. Ashamed, he ran away and hid in an old mansion for five days.

He was still young; what could a kid do? He was an orphan without parents to protect him. Only the old mansion with the loving memories of his parents made him feel safe, so he stayed there for five days. Eventually, his aunt, who was his guardian at the time, forced him to return to her house and attend school again.

Only when he turned 16 did he gain his own freedom. Freedom because his life with his aunt wasn't good either. Her children always bullied him, making everything hard for him. That's why he felt real joy when he left her house.

"Ah, this... Daiyu might be feeling a bit pressed. Hmm, oh nope, she's jealous?" Aiden asked Enle calmly while looking at Baiyue's cute picture wearing a cute tutu dress. He removed it from the bulletin board, hearing whispers around him but not caring.

"Since she saw you being close with the second Nán Shén, she will feel like she should be the one in your position, so she wanted to make you look bad in front of Yun Tang, Host." Enle said, making Aiden smirk.

"That foolish girl is making my work move faster. I never thought that there would be such a person." Aiden said while removing the pictures from the bulletin board.

Yun Tang had just come into the school and heard a lot of laughter and talking about what was on the bulletin board.

“Hey~ I didn't expect that Baiyue had a side like that since he was a kid. Wearing a tutu dress.” That's what he heard from one of the students. His legs moved faster, striding towards the big bulletin board, and he saw Baiyue removing those pictures that had filled the bulletin board.

Enle promptly responded and gave a warning that the Second Nán Shén was coming, so Aiden immediately began his act for the day.

Yun Tang saw how Baiyue's body shook and those small hands were shaking too. He walked closer and helped him to remove the pictures on the bulletin board.

“Baiyue… Let's go,” he muttered to his little classmate and held his hand, while his other hand was holding those pictures. Baiyue's head remained low as they began to walk.

Yun Tang guided him inside the school president's office. As the school president, he had the key to this office. He made Baiyue sit on the couch, went to the water refill, and used a plastic cup to fill it with water before giving it to him.

“Drink this first.”

Baiyue, with his hands still shaking, reached for the cup and slowly sipped from it, which brought slight comfort. “Thank you… I don't deserve your kindness,” Baiyue said sadly.

Yun Tang sat beside him and reached for his hand. He wasn't used to comforting someone, but he couldn't bear to see him sad like this. He knew that someone might be targeting his little classmate, and he would look for that person.

“Baiyue, we are friends already, have you forgotten? My friend's pain is my pain… Think about it, do you have an enemy?” Yun Tang asked.

Baiyue tried to think about who might be deliberately targeting him but he couldn't think of anyone. “Nothing I could think of… I don't have friends. I tried my best to be invisible already, so I have no idea,” Baiyue said, feeling blue.

“That's it, I will help you find out who is targeting you,” Yun Tang said, which made Baiyue happy and reluctant at the same time.

“Uhm… it's not really necessary, it's still the first time,” Baiyue said, shaking his head.

Yun Tang sighed as he heard Baiyue's words. He messed with his hair and smiled. “Okay, then if that person does it again, I will look into it and punish them, okay?”

Baiyue nodded his head and smiled. "En, thank you, Nán Shén.” Yun Tang smiled when he saw that the blue on Baiyue's face had disappeared.

While saying this, Yun Tang had already made his plan by giving an order to the school officers to look into this matter. After all, this can't be ignored. Bullying is not allowed in the school, and his cute friend is the one getting targeted; he can't ignore this at all.

“It's almost time. Let me walk you to your classroom so you won't be scolded by the teacher,” he said gently before helping Baiyue to stand. He fixed his uniform collar and the wrinkles on his uniform.

"En.. Thank you, Nán Shén." He felt grateful for the kindness of the man in front of him, which made his heart flutter. They left the school president's office and headed in the direction of Baiyue's classroom.

Breaktime came, and still penniless, Aiden sat sadly in his chair. He felt miserable. This might be the punishment from those scum w*****d officers!

Aiden suddenly remembered and asked Enle, "Hey, can you hear my thoughts?"

"No, host. Why did you ask?" Enle answered, which made him sigh in relief. At least those scum couldn't hear his thoughts, hehehe. Now he would feel at ease cursing those people. "It was invading the host's mind, so it can be switched on if you want me to listen to your thoughts and turned off if you don't want it. Does the host want to switch it on?"

Aiden smiled a little and snorted but hid his expression immediately. If he decided to turn it on, he wouldn't be able to curse those people, and he might get shocked by electricity again! "Hehehe, no."

"Baiyue, get out of the classroom," Yun Tang said as he knocked on the window. Aiden smiled happily.

"My knight in starvation has come. It's time for a feast," he muttered to himself before he grabbed his bag and went out of the classroom.

"Did you wait for long?" Yun Tang asked before he held Baiyue's hand as they walked to the cafeteria.

Baiyue shook his head. "No, Nán Shén is just on time before my stomach growls." As he said so, his stomach growled coincidentally.

This amused Yun Tang, who rubbed Baiyue's head. "I see, I won't doubt it." Yun Tang chuckled before they stepped inside the cafeteria.

As they went inside, they earned a lot of stares and whispers. People couldn't believe their eyes seeing the school president with the school flower.

Yun Tang ignored the stares and guided Baiyue to the counter. They both bought rice and kung pao chicken, and then mooncakes.

"Thank you for the food, A-Yun," Aiden said happily. He was so happy to fill his stomach with food again. Last night there was no food in his refrigerator, so he slept with an empty stomach.

Yun Tang's heart shook when Baiyue called him with a nickname that only his family used. Hearing his name from his little classmate sounded sweeter to his ears as if it was tickling them.

"Focus on eating..." he said lightly. No one noticed his ears had turned red, not even himself.

Daiyu, on the side, gritted her teeth. She saw that Baiyue wasn't affected at all. She couldn't see any disgust on Yun Tang's face; it looked like they had become closer.

How could she accept this? This was unacceptable!

With gritted teeth and clenched fists, she strode out, thinking about her next move.
