“Good riddance,” Lilly says sarcastically, happy that Jane is no longer at their table and hope that it means she will also see less of Jane in her inner circle.
That evening Jane is looking at herself in the white princess cut ball gown with flowers in between layers of shiny white organza. She gives a swirl and puts on the snow-white faux fur over her shoulders. ‘I don’t miss being a princess,’ she thinks as she puts the tiara on her head.
All the girls started to make their way over to the limo that will be driving them to the event. Jane is the last one to leave but when she gets outside, she sees Aston waiting there at the bottom of the stairs with a white flower corsage for her wrist that matches his boutonniere pinned to his jacket.
