Jane and Carlos are waiting for the car that will pick them up and take them to the boarding school as the summer hike starts at the school. May is tagging along after having her mouth full about Jane that is an orphan that is allowed to leave the grounds.
They arrived at the boarding school and after going over the contents of their backpacks with Mrs. Renaldi to make sure they are properly acquired for the hike across the continent they joined the other kids.
May and Lilly hit off right away.
“Where is Cindy?” Jane wondered after a while of hiking.
“Cindy fell pregnant and had to leave school, Lucas actually followed her,” Lilly says.
“Guess it is only fair. Nothing is stopping them from finishing school at home.,” Jane says.
“Better them than me,” Lilly says laughing.
